Ok, that seems kinda crazy, depending on what they mean by "affecting the story." Sounds like a scheduling nightmare, unless they've already played all the necessary matches before the writing even began, let alone the voice work. Also injuries seem not unlikely since they're not professional players (hell, even if they were). Kind of limits their casting choices too, since the seiyuu have to be young and athletic enough to play the game. I probably would've watched this anyway, but now I just want to see how they pull this off.
