Wow, didn't take them long to start milking this one (not that I mind in the least ). I guess this means the show is being well received over there.

"Clip! Clap!", eh? Sounds like they threw together a clip show. That's fine, though, it'll help new viewers get up to speed with the show.

Clip! Clap! is uncut definitely with that time slot and a Sunday timeslot for the second special is great.
Yippee! More Soul Eater. |

They both sound like clip shows to me. The CLIP!CLAP! one is only 15 minutes long (minus commercials).

The more "Soul Eater," the better. This is a series that should've been licensed here by the end of the first episode. So far -- to me, that is -- the series has been perfect.

Actually, middle of the night/early hours of the morning are the standard timeslots for anime in Japan. Daytime slots are either for much more kid-oriented shows (Pokemon/Yatterman), with few exceptions. Geass R2 has grabbed a surprisingly early timeslot, though that doesn't appear to have helped it's ratings at all. |

Yeah, for otaku anime, and those TV timeslots are just advertising vehicles for the DVDs and merchandise, damn the ratings! (Their ad slots are already pre-paid by their production sponsors anyways, so ratings don't matter much.) For a niche audience, [Adult Swim] still has better timeslots though. Yet, the Japanese put up with worse timeslots and more expensive DVDs. Westerners are so spoiled! |

Clip! Clap! website: http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/c-e/
Appears to be a round-table discussion format for various releases. Summary for the actual episode confirms that it will be a clip show. |
