Hey, what I coincidence, I just picked this up yesterday at Boekenfestijn where Tokyopop's leftovers are sold for low, low prices...

What an untimely review...this thing came out ages ago.

It's not a good idea to reveal so much of the plot in the review like that. I know I would have enjoyed it less if I knew the ending beforehand, and you are trying to talk to people who haven't it read yet, aren't you?

I thought it was pretty good, though it has little to do with "manga", other than some infrequent and unnatural-seeming SD comedy. Since that doesn't matter, I recomend it.

On the one hand, 12 Days is a really good read, I agree with pretty much everything Casey's said about it and I'm glad it's getting some belated exposure.

On the other hand, why review a book that's already been reviewed on ANN when there are so many other great releases that have yet to be reviewed (or even mentioned in passing) here?

I must say that I have never heard of eating someone's ashes before. Oh well it is good to see some yuri-like books out there amid the sea of yaoi.

Actually, in the Islamic tradition, he is indeed considered a prophet. Judaism and Christianity (at least any group I am familiar with) do not, but it's an easy mistake to make if you're not very familiar with either tradition (frankly, there are lots of Jews and Christians who'd make this mistake too).

Anyway, away from my religious studies background and back to the manga, which sounds great. A non-schoolgirl lesbian-themes story? I'm so glad this has been licensed and released. Now I'll just wait for "Indigo Blue" and "Free Spirit" to make their way over here as well...
