Series currently running in Nemuki Plus

Hisae Iwaoka's Hoshi ga Hara Ao Manjū no Mori manga will enter its final arc in the March issue of Asahi Shinbunsha's Nemuki Plus magazine on Thursday. The series' third and most recent compiled volume shipped in Japan in October 2012.

Iwaoka launched the series in Nemuki magazine August 2008. The manga moved to Nemuki Plus last year after Nemuki ended publication in December 2012.

The "human fantasy" story takes place in a forest where monsters appear and children are afraid. The forest contains one house, where one man lives with several lovely spirits.

Iwaoka launched Koshoku Robot (Solitary Eating Robot) as a series in Shueisha's Jump X magazine in November after ending her Narihirabashi Denki Shoten (Narihirabashi Electric Appliance Store) manga series in September. Akita Shoten's Mystery Bonita magazine published Iwaoka's manga adaptation of acclaimed science-fiction author Shinichi Hoshi's "Tōsō no Michi" (Escape Route) short story in December.

Iwaoka's Saturn Apartments won the Grand Prize in the Manga Division of the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in 2011. The series was also honored by the American Library Association's Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) division as one of the the top 10 graphic novels for teens in 2012, and received an Eisner nomination in 2012. Viz Media released the seven-volume series in North America.
