Wow, there's a pretty heavy focus on Princess Ai here. Surprised

Never really cared to check out the manga, but the dolls are actually rather nice looking. Bleeding edge is known for detailed goth dolls so these fit right in. Can't quite say the same about the 7" PVCs, for the most part the outfits aren't that great.

I didn't really think the face detail on the smaller dolls was that great.

When I go to a site, and the first thing I see is emo goth poetry, it totally kills any curiosity I may have had. =/ The sculpting and painting on the 7"s totally suck too.

Remember, it's up and down the arm, not across.

Am I the only who is amused by Tokyopop's relentless efforts to hawk merchandise for something that barely has a fanbase?

I'd buy Paradise Kiss Dolls, but never Princess Ai Dolls.

This coming from the mouth of a Guy.

I've always wondered about that. Every time I see Princess Ai mention, it always says 'Best Seller' or something like that near it, but I don't know that many people who even bothered to read it. I love how on the site is says "Tokyopop's successful anime." All 30 seconds of it? To my knowledge, they haven't made a Princess Ai anime yet, only that little promo.

I thought the dolls may have potential, but they're not that great in my opinion. Especially the 7" ones. The bigger ones just look like Barbies that were played with by little girls with scissors. They're ok, but worth my money? Probably not. I agree with whoever said you're better off making your own dollfie, if you have (a lot of) extra money.

Kinda how ADV hyped up their Lady Death Anime as being #1 in sales, yet I cannot even find one person that would admit to buying it.
