So is this just a SOL series, then? I find it somewhat annoying that we get no idea what the story will be about.

Hikari sounds a lot like Haruka Morishima, right down to being a winner of the "Miss Santa Contest." Ayane Sakura even sounds like she's doing her best Shizuka Itou impression

So, looks like it's basically Amagami again, except it isn't based off a visual novel this time around. Not that I'm complaining, but I wonder if the creator has ever thought about branching out a bit?

Another childhood friend? Though I enjoy trope when it comes to romance/harem anime, I prefer it when it is the lead female mixed with the Lucky Childhood Friend/First Girl Wins tropes.
