Damn thats really nice, hope they can adapt also the mini novel into anime since it barely missed the goal with few more days i bet it could reach it. Anyway looking forward to it, the series has potential for more thats for sure with such big support.

Apparently, they're trying to get a paypal account going to be able to receive more donations, so if that ends up working out, they still might end up getting to a million dollars.

That's what I was thinking. They're so close to the million that they can surely hit it by the time production would begin on it.

They wouldn't be the first to do so either. I seem to remember the Shantae: Half Genie Hero kickstarter reaching a few more stretch goals this way. And I'm sure a lot more kickstarters pull in some extra funds this way once their project has been successfully funded.
