This is what Genshiken really needed, a "ticking clock" element for their entire existence to give all those otaku meetings meaning. Yeah...
I really hope that's a translating error because I'd rather be watching that story. It'd be like putting Clerks in Melancholia. "Why are you talking about Star Wars? The world's ending next week!" Or maybe they're going for a School Live thing and it's going to be a journey into demented wish fulfillment musings instead of facing the harsh reality they have no control over. This could be true... and it's an idea I would love... except it looks like K-On right down to Ishihara/KyoAni's "Glowing sunsets". |
