The title sounds familiar for some reason. Main girl also looks like Asuna from SAO, visual wise.
Might give this a try. With 5 volumes, (6th to come soon) I'm guessing 1-cour.

This is giving me some serious AnoHana vibes.

I was thinking the same thing. "AnoHana meets Isekai." Hopefully it'll be a character-driven story and not another generic harem-esque MMORPG. There have been so many it's not to stand out with any quality nowadays.
Some of the designs look pretty cool so I'll keep my eye out for this one. Fingers crossed it's one of the good ones!

Yeah, my first thought after reading the article was AnoHana but in a game. I haven't heard anything about the novels but the idea sounds like it has potential.

Shouldn't "Pleiades" have been in the title since that Subaru is Japanese for?

Can't agree more. Wow, I was not expecting there to be an "isekai" take on that series - although, if this does it well, it could be absolutely fantastic.
I'm very interested to be checking this one out, although I wonder if it's going to be derailed due to the limited number of volumes available. That always seems to bite these sorts of series in the butt, unless they're shorter series anyways (SukaSuka).

Now, we should start hounding Sam Pinansky at J-Novel Club to pick this up. Then again, that site gets so many requests, they should get even more staff and translators. Also, it can help if they try to license the LN series that score highest on those "What LN Should We License Next?" polls.
