Wow this looks even more ridiculous than I imagined...

I like the pseudo classical orchestra playing the japanese pop music. Very realistic there.
Also nice choice have all the background characters wear a mask so you don't have to create more than 1 model for them. Really shows you care.

well. I was mad about Netflix holding this back from getting a simulstream but this trailer just killed ALL my interest. I love Konomi Suzuki and I love Yukari Tamura looks outright awful in every way. Cringey choerography on the dance moves, bad CGI models, lazy/bland designs all around. Ugh...shame.

As for the "pseudo classical orchestra" mentioned in the comment above me - I don't like that's a relevant downside. It's not entirely unrealistic. We don't know of this specific song actually plays during that scene. They might have another song that actually does have an orchestra backing in. Japanese pop in live performances fairly often DOES have live orchestras backing them.

I kind of thought this is an idol anime set in a fantasy world. Looks interesting but not the CG.

To ANN: I think Henry's name is supposed to be below Monica's picture.

This is a by-product of the official cast listing and designs so far released. Henry's voice is listed above Monica's voice in the official credits. However, the staff members have not posted Henry's design, even though they have posted Monica's.

I think the biggest mistake that has been made is trusting Netflix with it. That will be the day when non-Japanese Netflix versions will have all their anime as weekly simulcasts.
