OMG yes! I have no clue what this novel is about but the previous 2 works by this author that were adapted into anime are in my top 10. I'm so excited.

Now THIS is something to look forward to. Hope it's a tv series (or a series of films/ovas for that matter). Can't wait to get more info about this project

Very pleasant news, huge fan of Moribito and Erin, the latter was a godsend which can't be describe by words. I only heard good things about this one, an animation someday was certain,

Sweet. I heard about the novel a while back, and I thought the premise sounded really interesting. Hope the anime increases the chances of the books being translated.

I have yet to watch the author’s previously adapted works (I want to, but I just can’t find the time for it unfortunately), though I have heard good things. Looking forward to seeing what format and what staff this project will have as it sounds intriguing.

The Moribito anime was an absolute classic, and I've wanted to watch Erin for a while now. Glad to see the author's getting another adaptation.

It sounds amazing.
Moribito is a favorite, and Erin was quite good considering it got the 'kiddie' anime treatment. Looking forward to this one.

I am surprised "Erin" has not gotten an official Eng. dub yet. Monica Rial could do Erin justice.

The NHK produced an impressive live-action adaptation of the Moribito novels in 2016-2017. The first four episodes rehash the material in the anime adaptation, while the remaining eighteen episodes cover material from the other novels in the series. For anyone who enjoyed the anime adaptations of Uehashi's novels, this live-action version is worth tracking down.
