Well i guess that the french will enjoy the series better than other countries.
As for English speaking viewers sub are the the only option left. What are fans of the series thoughts? |

That's interesting, because Wakanim has completely stopped streaming it in the Nordic countries. They announced the removal from lineup yesterday, and as of today, their page for it just redirects to the site's homepage. Maybe the company's standards are, uh, wider in France?
(On a different note, this happening just a day after Wakanim Nordic had started an English simuldub for the series is... kinda ironic.) |

Interspecies Reviewers are also available on Wakanim Russia. P.S. Wakanim Russian version should add English subs in it because I don't understand Russian. |

Does Funimation fully own Wakanim? If they do, It’s interesting that they have one standard for their American market and one for their French speaking one. Pretty telling, huh? In the case of the Nordics, I think it’s more a question of there being no English language subs. When Funi pulled the plug, there was no one to make the subs. No one cares about what content anime has over here. |

I was already watching the uncensored ATX versions already outside of Funimation's website because the censored versions are pointless. The TV versions have Queen's Blade levels of censorship and isn't worth the time. It's a shame they dropped it though because that means we are unlikely to get a blu-ray versions and as someone in the UK it'll never get released here either on blu-ray. |

Well, Wakanim is a french company which is owned by Aniplex (and not by Funimation). I think they stopped streaming the series in english because for Wakanim Nordic, they are working with Funimation and streaming Funimation episodes. (It's often the case with english releases in Europe that use American companies work) So there's no problem with russian or french episodes that use their own translation. But they also have problems here in France, because they first announced an uncensored version of the show and later annouced that they could'nt stream it so they will only stream the censored version. |

The interesting fact - AnimeLab also confirmed that they will still stream Interspecies Reviewers too despite Funi dropped it. So basically, English Interspecies Reviewers simulsub still exists, but available now only for Australia and New Zealand. Right, Australia — of all things. Seems AnimeLab already streamed the 4th episode, so they're definitely on track on that front. Kind of ironic it's Australia of all places that gets to air the most explicit anime of the season... |

What’s weird is as far as I know New Zealand is even stricter when it comes to the depiction of children banning stuff like Puni Puni Poemy and Kodomo no Jikan.

Funimation should have never picked up the license in the first place. They were just trying to gobble up everything Disney style. While I like the company for its dub quality and acting choices, this was a show that did indeed feel like it wasnt a good fit for Funi. (And I like this show).
This show felt more like something Sentai should have picked up. Its right up there with Monster Musume in terms of Ecchi quality. Hopefully Sentai picks up the slack. |

If Funi (who has licensed, dubbed, and released way more ecchi shows than Sentai ever has in their entire catalog) dropped this, what makes you think Sentai would pick it up? As raunchy is MonMusu is (and I love that series): DxD, Testament of Sister New Devil, Panty & Stocking, and Valkyrie Drive Mermaid are WAY more explicit. |
