So does TBS not trust Sentai or something, forcing them to have a 24 hour delaycast? Funimation's shows from TBS never had that problem.

My unfounded theory is that Sentai accepted that because there is a discount on the cost of the license. Sentai is struggling to get licenses of new shows and any discount they can get is welcomed. On the other hand, Funimation has plenty of money to acquire same day simulcasts.

Some of Sentai’s haven’t either. Just be happy it isn’t just a couple of years ago where TBS enforced at least a 72 hour hold on all their simulcasts.
