That's a clever PV. It'll be interesting to see how they market this cour up until it comes out.
I've seen people speculate that's Mutsumi Tamura as Shiden in the PV?

Wait wait, I'm not familiar with the novel but I read that the following part of 86 didn't have almost anything of Lena
If that is right, I'm smelling fillers ahead

Nothing in this PV would be considered as "filler". Plus with the cliffhanger the first cour ended on, showing a scene with Lena opposed to anything else makes complete sense.

The first season had quite a bit of anime original content that actually worked naturally within the story, so I expect the same to hold true here.

Indeed. Asato herself would read over the story boards and give her own input and advice, so any anime original content will be positive additions to the story.

If anything, that will actually improve the 2nd cour. The Run Through The Battlefront Arc is the least popular in the series mostly cause Lena has so little screentime.
