Well, at least it was a 3-month wait after the original Japan release and not the 8 one from Demon Slayer.

Hopefully it means for high profile releases, the gap will continue to shrink in the future. I think the three-months delay is already really short.

You mean the box office in Japan?
in general . not just japan . as far as i know, after theatres' profits start decreasing, they allow the web release
