Was anyone else worried for a bit that Netflix was getting back into Precure when they saw this?

It's great for them to got he extra mile for this and it looks stellar, but it makes things all the more unfair that the show itself has basically no animation. The show really deserved better.

Producer decision. Even the director hated it, she said she lost more time on making it a 1:1 trace of the manga than actually animating it normaly.

I thought it's the animators who complained about it being more time-consuming, the director who decided it, and the author who agreed with the idea?

When that has more animation into it than the entire second season is likely to have.

I actually wouldn't mind a Precure season in the style of this show.

Also, Chiaki Kon has a solid singing voice.

It's Netflix's fault more since even the manga publisher isn't involved with that anime.

Ironically she worked on the sailor moon movies' sequals before.

The director thought it was tough but she managed to do it while Netflix offered that and the author wasn't against it.
