The sequel is getting an anime even though the first anime didn't cover everything? Makes sense.

Yeah, I'm confused as well, as best as i can tell, the manga has been handled weirdly for some reason, in essence it's a "sequel" to a manga that was incomplete anyway.
The manga seems to have "ended" after apparently covering slightly more than the anime, but then they started it up again later as a "sequel".

HOLY S***

ANN i censored it but i had to say i mean can u blame me?

They actually kept their word for to be continued. LOL OH MY GOD... The animation was terrible but i do love the story in that So bad that is good kind of element. Anime hyper

Wow when compared to how Sekirei ended with a TBC that never arrived( i am still pissed about that). Those producers must look even more shittier if this got a sequel.

I can explain.

The Sequel manga is not really a sequel, it basically adapts the same story which for some reason the first manga ended publication but than continued the same story under a dif name, my guess it is due to being transferred to a dif publisher. Both manga adapt the same light novel which is still one story.

Case in Point ANN this is based originally on the novel not the manga. both manga are an adaptation of the main light novel.

Pfft, still nothing like beating off The Dawn Of Witch anime, despite Grimoire of Zero adapted only the first volume of 11.

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. As annoying as it can be to have spinoffs adapted ahead of a main series, outright skipping ahead to a sequel wouldn't make sense for the audience. If it's a publisher/rights thing, then that is fine.

Interesting, it does say "re-vamped series". Weird time to be living in where 4 yr old anime get rebooted. By the time it comes out it'll be close to FMA -> FMAB time span.

I actually enjoyed the anime so I'll definitely be watching this. It still kinda weirds me out how much I liked it since I normally don't enjoy most isekai.
