Hopefully the production manages to keep itself stable through the whole run. This would be the longest project this team has taken yet, and I don't know how long the production has really been going on for considering Sato had been on BTR last year.

I'm just as interested to see if YOASOBI can strike gold a second time this year with an anisong.

Yes, 2-cour. Really looking forward to Frieren.

Have completed all 8 ENG Manga VOLs, and am waiting for ENG VOL 9 which drops on Oct 17, 2023.

The work has combat with Demons but it is not a Shōnen. There are hints of a romance but it is not a Shōjo. There are elements of comedy, but it is not a comedy. Frieren is difficult to categorize. The work is actually closer to being a Slice of Life, but even that is somewhat misleading. The work centers on an immortal (or almost immortal) Elf, Frieren, and asks the question, "What does it mean to be immortal?".

I encourage everyone who can to check out the author's previous Bocchi Hakase to Robot Shoujo no Zetsubou Teki Utopia(Lonely Professor and Robot Girl's Despair-Like Utopia).

It's a bittersweet slice-of-life tale of a lone survivor and a robot girl set in an post-apocalyptic setting.
