very low expectations from this one considering it's the same director that did god of highschool which was horrible.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Park's work, namely his aesthetic choices, God of Highschool should never be used to indicate that Park is a "terrible director" or anything. It suffered from having an already paper-thin plot that got even worse in the anime due to the low episode count, something which isn't really on his control. If anything, an action expert like Park was the best possible director a martial arts heavy series like GOH could've had. |

Now,this looks promising. It's got an interesting premise. A former ninja flees to rural America to start a new life with his family far from his past. Unfortunately,that past comes back and wipes out his family and friends. Now,he wants to avenge them and it's going to be done with a mixture of Bruce Lee and John Wick. I'm with those who are going to be eagerly waiting for this. It's going to be a fascinating watch.

New disguise to hide from the authorities/other ninja? If you look at the 2nd trailer at 1:10, he's got the sandy hair and beard, so it's not like they just up and changed him between trailers.

I like the art style and the action looks fluid. Gorey too. The trailer gave me the impression that he just slices and dices through all of his foes with ease, kinda a Gary Stu character. Hopefully, that's just the editing.
