You seriously don't have a DVD player? When most things are released on DVD before Blu-ray, /if/ they release it on Blu-ray at all?

DVD: USA is region 1, Japan is region 2 Blu-ray: USA and Japan are both region A I have a PS3, which plays DVDs AND Blu-rays, but it only plays Region 1/A, not region 2. |

Pretty much any name-brand standalone DVD player has a remote control hack for multi-region/region-free playback. Would probably be cheaper than most R2-Japanese DVDs. |
