This is really sad. I'll miss the guy's voice a crap ton. I litterally just started up The Lupin III - Crisis in Tokyo right now. Thank you for some wonderful voice acting.

Just started getting into the older Lupin the 3rd series after Discotek released it; what a legacy he has left behind.

So many influential people in the industry passing away...

Rest in Peace sir.

This is a truly tragic passing. Goro Naya was a treasure of anime, playing classic characters like Inspector Zenigata, Juzo Okita, and Willibald Joachim von Merkatz with substance and presence. I will miss him.

Terribly sad, but not unexpected news. He was in very poor health in recent years. Crying or Very sad

I just finished watching The Mystery of Mamo, too! Sadness. Having not seen what he looks like before, I can totally hear Zenigata's voice coming from the image. RIP, Goro-san.

Only watched one of the Lupin III movies a long time ago in Taiwan (which I couldn't understand the subtitles but I still got the grasp of the movie), and I felt that every VA in that movie was awesome.

So, R.I.P. Goro. >__<

I think he's amazing! While it's not that surprising, it's still a shock.

*SALUTES* R.I.P!

As somebody who proudly cosplays the Lupin franchise, owns most of the North American releases, and who has turned countless friends onto the franchise, I'm positively devastated. It's been a while that I've cried so hard at an actor's passing, but this is one of the most tragic for me. Zenigata is such an important part of Japanese pop culture, and seeing his original voice pass is a major blow to multiple generations who grew up with him at their side.

If there's a heaven, I'm sure Naya-san and Yasuo Yamada (Lupin's original voice actor) are up there right now, mock-chasing each other to their hearts' content. As the master thief himself would say, rest in peace, "pops."

Is Japan's Paling of Immortality starting to wear off or something? Because there have been WAAAAAY too many seiyuu die lately.

A very sad moment, indeed. I'll always remember his amazing voice acting performances for Inspector Zenigata and Yupa. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace, good sir.
