This type of format has been done before with Cooking Idol Ai Mai Main. Although I think this one will be more refined for proper culinary tastes like mine plus I wouldn't mind seeing a few good resteraunts. The only thing really going for Ai Mai Main is the 10 year old girl cooking, not my cup of tea.

For some strange reason, the animation for this:



reminds me of Archer:



Anyone notice the animation of Archer may have play an influence for Medamayaki no Kimi Itsu Tsubusu? anime. So someone at the anime studio is a big Archer fan. Laughing

Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'll probably watch it after I eat rather than while I eat.

Look I thought Oishinbo was really great (a series food show), and I don't like the exaggerated nature of Toriko, that said there are a lot of better cooking works that should get an anime before this, Shokugeki no Soma comes to mind.
