There are those of us here in North America that keep a candle lit for an eventual rescue & completion of the Lucky Star manga and, of course, would welcome any new projects from Yoshimizu Sensei.

I also did not realize that Lucky Star was still being published.

I really do hope that somebody will rescue the license here in North America.
Since Azumanga Daioh was rescued by Yen I think there is a possibility that they might do it.

I have the eight volumes that Bandai published and I will buy more if I get the chance. I might even buy the first eight again, maybe.

Would be more interested in seeing the anime and Haruhi anime rescued by either Sentai or Funi personally. That aside I was under the impression that this ended long ago since I heard little to nothing on it as of recent.

It doesn't really help that the series puts out tanks so slowly - volume ten is just coming out, when volume eight was first publish four years ago.

Even so, I wants it.

I thought they were actually going to end this series? Suffice to say- I'm kind of disappointed it doesn't focus as much on Konata and her circle of friends anymore since they're in college.

I guess they're too old? Driving a car isn't very sexy in japan?

Wow, hearing about the hardships that American readers and anime fans are going through, makes me thankful I'm able to understand Japanese so I can keep up to date on the series. That's too bad he's going hiatus though. I never get tired of this series so it would be nice to see Yoshimizu continue it. I'll also be interested to see what the new project looks like. Perhaps we can get an anime out of that too!

Wonder what the new project will be?

In any event, I really hope someone rescues the Manga and Anime at some point.
