This is great news! I was fearing they may not do it again, but I'm glad to know I was wrong. I'm definitely going to watch this in the theaters by that time.

Question: Is there a target market, aside from you? Sure, there are many anime fans, but how many of them would actually spend tons of money on legitimate anime DVDs?

The Philippines already has a piracy problem with non-anime titles. With that being said, it's already quite risky if a business suddenly decides to distribute a DVD/Blu-Ray set in the country.

Of course, there's some progress going on now. There are now DVD releases of the various anime movies that have been released in SM theaters in the past year. Of course, there's the question: how well have the sales performed at this point? If those sales aren't that high, then you can't expect them to gamble on DVD/Blu-Ray sets of anime series?

Besides, what particular anime series do you think will sell well in the Philippines? Attack on Titan? Is there really a sizable market in the Philippines who are willing to spend thousands of money on legitimate Attack on Titan DVDs? And will they even be able to gain any profit from it?

But who knows? Maybe if this Rurouni Kenshin film gets released in DVD and gets a boost in sales, we might see your dream of anime DVD/Blu-Ray sets in the Philippines actually taking place. But you'll have to ensure that it happens, though.

they rather give how phils tv-dvd management are recent years has gone so messed in ways like a long list.

spoiler[too much UAAP showing with over replay same games, constant re-run on long anime of Going Messed-up Anime network, lack of showing pure English dub from u.s. area, ya-da long list]

really indeed those phils tv-dvd management rather get out of their hiding hole & give in to have expand anime showing by finally having lots of anime dvd-blu sets on stores.

yea i just do NOT trust those phils tv management doing on anime.
