The weird thing about Planetarian is that Key already did their own English release of that, for iOS, a year ago. So the fact that they're licensing out the PC version to a third party makes me feel like it's a step back… like they were testing the waters and were unsatisfied with the results (not making money on the App Store, imagine that!), so now they've retrenched and will let someone else figure out if there's a viable market in the West.

I also wonder if Sekai Project is going to feel any price pressure from the iOS release. If they charge $15 or $20, fans will scream that the iOS version was only $4.
