I kind of got a Rune Factory vibe when I first looked at this article and the characters, and know why now. This is great that the people who worked making the Rune Factory games have move on to make another game after the job they were working under before got bankrupt. This could be a start to something new. No in fact it is a start to something new. I look forward to this game coming to my home country at some point as I want to support them (plus the game in general looks nice so far.) It might a stretch to assume this game might get license at some point, but I feel hopeful that ti would, so I would keep an eye on it. Otherwise there is always importing from a official site that sells games from Japan. The game appears to have a similar set up as Rune Factory in that their is one central male character surrounded by a female cast, and their exploring while holding a profession (this time as a inn keeper and it seems that you can't choose multiple professions like before) except this time it seems that it's the female cast that do all the fighting. The battle system looks different. It's more tactical and it's possible you can take more enemies out depending on what characters are in play, which at large have to do with the weapons they use. Speaking of weapons Beatrice and Elfriede have some of the cool looking weapons by design (and I'm not usually that into archery or shooting), and for Gabriele I don't know what to make of it. It's one of those music box things (which I forgot the name of), and it seems to damage enemies by her opening it...? I don't know how it works, but maybe down the road I will. Character design wise my favorite would be Luchs, Ingrid, and Francesca. Rune Factory fans in Japan I'm sure are going to enjoy this. |
