Studio Trigger huh? Sounds interesting but it will be a short? That's kinda disappointing.

JP broadcast timetables are really weird.
It starts at 5:00 and ends at 29:00

I've read about this block, it's a block of 10 3-minutes shows in a row (for a total runtime of 30 minutes).

The block will have a second cours (quarter of a year) in October.

So I guess that means they automatically got green-lit to do a 24-episode show.

When I saw this on Japanese-related news articles way back, I was confused as well. Apparently the Japanese TV stations don't like the idea of a show airing "tomorrow", so they write the airtimes in a more-than-24-hours format (I've seen announcements for airtimes of 27:00, 28:00 and 29:00 as well). The full sentence helps clear it up some

So how far do the hours go up to? And does that mean they begin on a time other than 0:00?

Take a look at this set of ratings data for anime shows in the first half of 2012. The latest show in that list begins at "28:52," or 4:52 am.

Studio Trigger making their own anime block with "no F--- given". This should be interesting. More Inferno Cop? More new stuff. Well, chances are they'll be able to pump out new and interestingly crazy creations.

Oh, okay. What do they show at 5 AM then? All of the schedules in that link have their last show at 4:10 AM at the latest and 6:00 AM at the earliest.
