The manga is meh to say the least. And this coming from a huge shoujo manga lover. The art is really good but the story....ugh.

Honestly, more than this, I hope the upcoming announcement in Betsufure for Watashi ga Motete Dousunda(Kiss Him, Not Me) is an anime announcement. It is way superior to this manga.

But if this means Kodansha is giving anime to its shoujo manga again, good. Ohayou, Ibarahime is getting attention in Japan so I hope Kodansha gives it an anime too.

Ugh. I'm not really a fan of this manga, yet I'm going to watch the anime. Hopefully, it turns out better than the manga! (At least, I'm hoping so because of Yui Horie.)

Reviews of the manga have not been that kind so I'll probably skip this one. It sounds like a less funny Recorder to Randsell anyway.

Recorder to Randsell was kinda better. Despite the boy looking like a grown man, at least he was the same age as his little girlfriend.

So, this is about a girl who's a high school freshmen that falls in love with a boy she thinks is the same age as her, only later to find out he's in the fifth-grade? And she still tries to pursue him???

Is her brain ok?

The bigger question should be: what is in the water in Japan?!

Most likely not.

Didn't expect the over all sentiment toward this series to be so negative, but that actually makes me feel better about my less that optimistic view of it after reading the synopsis. That gimmick is just eyerolling levels of dumb. I guess everything has to have something to make it stand out from the crowd.

Much of my expectation for this show comes from the leads.
