Square Enix Announces its 1st App Game for Female Players

Game developer Square Enix opened a teaser website on Friday for its first mobile app game aimed at female players. The game is titled Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth (You and the Labyrinth of Fog), or KimiKiri for short. Part of the iOS and Android app will feature virtual-reality functionality.
The website shows silhouettes of 12 characters on a fantasy world background, and features the tagline "The story begins with you." The full website will open in a few days, and the Winter 2017 volume of Kadokawa's Girl's Berry mook (magazine-style book) will announce cast and character information when it goes on sale on January 30.
Square Enix had filed a trademark for "Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth" on August 1.
