22 Japanese Artists Draw Their Take on DC Superheroes

Tokyo's Shibuya PARCO Part 1 shopping complex will be hosting an exhibition to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the American publisher DC Comics, and 22 Japanese artists are contributing original art to the event. "DC Comics Super Heroes!!! American Comic Art Exhibition" will run from November 27 to December 19. Among the artists who are drawing their take on DC's superheroes are the following:

In addition, the exhibition will have comic cover art from America and actual props from the various Batman and Superman films. Katsura is a well-known fan of DC's Batman character; he has inserted Batman references into his manga, and he has drawn authorized Batman art for Japanese products. Marvel Comics contracted Terada to draw cover art for the comics Iron Man, Wolverine Soul Taker, and X-Men Unlimited.
