You Too Can Become a Fuchiko Cup Companion — For 378,000 Yen

Fuchiko, the tiny drink buddy made popular by Kitan Club's Fuchiko no Cup series has made quite a name for herself. She's inspired several crossovers and collaborations, including a Madoka Magica tie-in. And now, one lucky winner can become their own official Fuchiko-styled drink buddy—assuming, of course, that they have 378,000 yen (about US$3,249) to spare.
The campaign is being run by online retailer Zozotown, which is holding a lottery to determine which lucky winner will have the privilege of forking over three grand for a one-of-a-kind 5.5 cm figure.
The winner will have their likeness drawn by Tanaka Katsuki, the original artist behind Fuchiko, based on a photograph sent in by the winner. The contest is open to both men and women, and there are no restrictions for hairstyle or clothing, provided they do not violate copyright. In addition to the signed A4-size illustration, the winner will also receive the resulting cup figure.
Lottery applications will be held until March 31.
