Catch Real Bugs with Pokéball Bug Cage
posted on by Kim Morrissy
Satoshi Tajiri was first inspired to create the Pokémon series from his childhood days catching and collecting bugs. Kids today can follow in his footsteps by catching bugs with a Pokéball-inspired bug cage.
The cage, which is designed by metalworking company Castem, can open and close through the same way as a typical Pokéball - by pressing the white button in the middle. It can also be opened from the top in order to keep bugs in.
The cage costs 1,300 yen (US$12). Pre-orders for the item opened on Castem's website last week, and it will go on sale beginning on Saturday.
