Make Promare Pizza with Trigger's Shigeto Koyama, Hiromi Wakabayashi

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The ABC Cooking Studio in Shinjuku will teach Promare fans how to make "Inferno Volcano Margherita Mega Max Pizza," just like the one Galo and his friends ordered at a pizzeria in the hit anime film. The lessons are scheduled to start on November 7 and run until January. Participants will receive a copy of the recipe on a card featuring illustrations by the film's character designer Shigeto Koyama.

A special lesson will be held at the studio on November 12 with Promare's creative producer Hiromi Wakabayashi and Koyama. It's a one-of-a-kind opportunity to make pizza with the film's staff. Participants can reserve a spot for 5,000 yen beginning on October 15.

The film opened in 200 theaters in Japan on May 24, and ranked at #8 in its opening weekend. The film has earned more than 1.2 billion yen (about US$11.11 million) at the Japanese box office.

GKIDS and Fathom Events announced on Wednesday that Promare will get an additional "Promare (Redux)" event screening in the United States on December 8 and feature all-new bonus content. GKIDS also confirmed on Tuesday that it will extend its screenings of the film into next week at select locations in North America.

Fathom Events screened the film in the United States on September 17 and 19. GKIDS began screening the movie in the United States on September 20 in select theaters, and in Canada on September 22.
