Manga Entertainment announced the launch of the official X website

There is a live streaming video trailer courtesy of sputnik7.com for both Real Player and Windows Media Player. The supernatural thriller X, with a top of the Japanese pop-charts theme song, is the first anime film designed by the all-female studio, Clamp. X is directed by Rintarō, who has been working in anime for over 30 years and is best known in the US for directing the TV series' Kimba the White Lion and Astro Boy.
Cartoon Network will soon launch an improved version of their Toonami website in anticipation of the start of the two anime series Gundam Wing and Tenchi Miyu. Cartoon Network is currently playing the anime series Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and Ronin Warriors.

Viz has announced an expanded edition of their monthly manga magazine Pulp. PULP: NEW JAPANESE POP CULTURE will come have 184-200 pages a month for the price of $5.95. It will include a new photography series from internationally acclaimed photographer NOBUYOSHI ARAKI, in-depth comic and manga reviews by novelist HEINZ INSU FENKL(MEMORIES OF MY GHOST BROTHER, THE MIMOSA SECTOR), Japanese tabloid gossip in the MILLENNIUM NEWS SHOCK HOUR from renowned Japanese journalist KON ISSHO (THE COMPLETE RUNAWAY MANUAL), and reviews and observations by CHIKAO
