YTV has sent out its fourth irregular Anime newsletter. Which includes Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing, Monster Rancher, Pokemon and Vision of Escaflowne updates.

Excerpted from the Newsletter:

SAILOR MOON:

GOOD NEWS 'Sailor Moon' fans, effective October 30th, YTV has added an extra timeslot. Beginning that week you can now catch 'Sailor Moon' on Tuesday at 6:30pm E/P, Saturday at 3:00pm and 3:30pm E/P, and on Sunday at 1:30pm E/P.

At this point, we have no plans to air any 'Sailor Moon' movies, however please be assured the programming department are aware of your requests.

Many of you have complained about the new voice of 'Sailor Moon' this season. We are sorry if these new 'Sailor Moon' episodes have fallen short of your expectations. In addressing your concerns, we would like to point out that YTV has no role in the production of the series. This means we are not responsible for the voices, translations, theme music, etc. We hope that you can understand that we air the series in the format in which it is received from the distributor.

When producing and editing a series such as 'Sailor Moon', it is not uncommon for some changes to occur from season to season. For instance, voice actors may choose to discontinue their work with the program, which of course means that new actors need to be hired. We can totally understand how frustrating such changes are to the fans of the show, however like in all areas of television, sometimes such changes are unavoidable! You may want to try contacting Voice Stars with your concern, they can be contacted at www.voicestars.com. They are responsible for many of the 'Sailor Moon' voices.

DRAGONBALL Z:

You can catch new episodes of 'Dragon Ball Z' starting September 15, 2000. Please remember that because we do not have possession of all the new episodes, we aren't going to be able to air new episodes every day. However, we will air the new episodes as soon as we receive them. You'll have to keep watching to catch all the action!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are pleased to announce on Thursday November 23, 2000 YTV will be airing 3 new episodes of 'Dragon Ball Z' back to back. Mark your calendars, tell all your friends! YTV airs DBZ in the format that we receive it from our distributors. We do NOT edit the program at YTV and therefore we do not control what gets taken out. Canadian television standards must be adhered to and may be different from those in other countries.

Many of you have asked us for copies of 'Dragon Ball Z'. We are glad to hear that you enjoy the show so much that you would like your own copy, but at present YTV does not provide copies of our programs. We hope you can understand that we simply do not have a service in place to accommodate such requests.
