Super Heroine Chronicle's 10-Minute Promo Showcases 10-Anime Lineup

Characters, battle system, theme song previewed from February 6 PS3/Vita RPG

Bandai Namco Games began streaming a new 10-minute promotional video for Super Heroine Chronicle, its upcoming "heroine melee simulation RPG," on Friday.

The video offers a "super roundup" of the game's characters from 10 different anime franchises:

Then, the video outlines the battle system that takes advantage of each character's individual skills. Certain coins, obtained during the game through various means, will unlock these skills. Players can get heroines on a certain map to join together in battle via the "Soul Link Kaiwa" (Soul Link Dialogue) feature. With the Kinō no Teki wa Kyō no Tomo System (Yesterday's Foe is Today's Friend System), players can defeat enemies and turn them into allies. Thanks to the "Free talk Meccha Voice aru yo" (FMV) System, all the dialogue in the game has been voice-acted by the cast listed above.

Finally, the video introduces the original characters:

Meru Ransheru (Hisako Kanemoto), a magical yo-yo user designed by Toru Minazuki (To Heart)

Noel Kazamatsuri (Rina Satō), a "magical magician" designed by Satoshi Urushihara (Growlanser)

Claude (Hiro Shimono), designed by Shinichirō Ōtsuka.

Eve Valentine (Kotono Mitsuishi) a "magical teacher" designed by Fumie Muroi (Corrector Yui, Aquarian Age the Movie).

Mii Madobe (Yui Itsuki, pictured at left in below image) and K-86X (Kei Mizusawa, pictured at right in below image).

Besides playing the role of Dorothy, Yui Itsuki and her band Yousei Teikoku perform the game's opening theme song, "Dea x Crisis,” that is heard in the video

The PS Vita version of the game will retail for 7,480 yen (US$75) on February 6, and the PS3 version of the game will retail for 8,480 yen (US$85). The first copies of the game will bundle a "Tongue Paper Kiss Thermometer" on a stand. The stand is illustrated with the faces of the two original female characters, so when you take your temperature with the thermometer, it looks like you are kissing them.
