Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2015 'Animation of the Year' Nominees Announced

The Tokyo Anime Award Festival announced the nominees for its "Animation of the Year" award on Tuesday. The nominees include:
Theatrical Animation Division
FrozenThe Tale of Princess Kaguya
Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn episode 7: "Niji no Kanata ni" (Over the Rainbow)
Stand By Me Doraemon
Television Animation Division
Knights of SidoniaPing Pong
Yōkai Watch
Love Live! School idol project
To be eligible, the works had to have been screened in theaters or broadcast on television in Japan between November 1, 2013 and October 31, 2014. The nominees were selected by 100 judges, including anime producers and members of The Association of Japanese Animations.
The titles will all screen during the Tokyo Anime Award Festival from March 19-23, and winners will be selected. Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki's The Wind Rises won the film award at last year's festival and Attack on Titan won the television award.
