Toyoki Ohta Takes Over as MAGES President

Toyoki Ohta, who previously worked as a director at Kadokawa Dwango Corporation, assumed the position of President and CEO of MAGES on April 1. The former president, Chiyomaru Shikura, was promoted to Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the right to represent the company.
Ohta will still continue to serve as executive vice president of Dwango. He has many years of experience in the music industry and was formerly the Animelo Summer Live and Anison CLUB! executive producer.
MAGES was founded in June 2011. The company is a subsidiary of Dwango, which is part of the Kadokawa Dwango Corporation. Kadokawa and Dwango announced a distribution partnership in October 2010, and then revealed in May 2011 that they would invest in each other to expand the partnership.
MAGES is responsible for 5pb. Games' "Science Adventure" game franchise (Chaos;HEAd, Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes, Chaos;Child), the Memories Off games, the planning and development of Animelo Summer Live, as well as talent management, net product sales, and food and beverage enterprises.
