On Monday August 24, Anime Limited will release Blu-ray and DVD editions of the second series of Shinichiro Watanabe's Space Dandy. Both editions will include a 148-page art book and 20 art cards. There will also be a 'Complete DVD Set' of Space Dandy, which will carry both seasons 1 and 2 of the series.

MVM will release the first half of Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, carrying the opening 12 episodes, on Blu-ray and DVD. It is based on a novel of the same name, which is itself a spinoff of the 2006 visual novel software Muv-Luv Alternative from the adult game company Age. This side story follows the test pilots and mechanics in the United Nations Forces' Tactical Surface Fighter Testing Unit in Alaska.

The protagonist Yūya Bridges (voiced by Daisuke Ono) is a Japanese-American who is the Argos Test Team's main pilot for "XFJ Project," the initiative that is developing the newest Tactical Surface Fighter.

Warner Home Video will release Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends, both as a Blu-ray Steelbook and a three-disc DVD. This the third and last of the live-action films based on the samurai manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The company describes the story as follows:

In the final chapter, Shishio (Tatsya Fujiwara) has set sail in his ironclad ship to bring down the Meiji government and return Japan to chaos, carrying Kaoru (Emi Takei) with him. After jumping overboard into the sea, Kenshin (Takeru Satō) is saved by his former mentor, Hiko Seijuro (Masaharu Fukuyama) and in order to stop Shishio in time, Kenshin enlists the help of his old master to train for the ultimate battle between hero and villain in an epic blood-drenched showdown.

Finally, MVM is releasing a collected edition of the series Accel World, previously released in two volumes.
