Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc Reveals 'Episode 19.5' Video Anime

The official website for the Durarara!!×2 television anime series announced on Saturday that the anime will get a third OVA episode. The Durarara!!×2 Ketsu Gaiden!? serves as "Episode 19.5" and is titled "Dufufufu!!." The episode revolves around an incident with a "fake Shizuo." The episode will screen in Japanese theaters starting on May 21. The previous two video anime episodes for the series (Episode 4.5 and episode 13.5) will also screen along with the new episode.
The episode will revolve around the man with "the worst luck in Ikebukuro," Shizuo Heiwajima, and another blonde-haired, sunglasses-wearing man wearing a bartender outfit named Shidzuo Nobusuma. Shidzuo is a young hoodlum. As the two men's fates are entangled, a new legend is born on the streets of Ikebukuro.
Kenjiro Tsuda will play Shidzuo Nobusuma. FLOW will perform the episode's opening theme song "Steppin' Out" (which also serves as Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc's opening theme song) and Toshiyuki Toyonaga will perform the ending theme song "C"LR"OWN."
Presale tickets will cost 1,200 yen (about US$10.50) and will come with a post card.
The "Episode 4.5" OVA debuted in Japanese theaters on May 30, and the "Episode 13.5" OVA debuted in theaters on November 14. Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc premiered in Japan on January 9.
