Live-Action Love Concierge Series Casts Kanata Hongou as Ueno

The official website of the live-action series adaptation of Hakase and Ueno's comedy manga Rabuho no Ueno-san (Love Concierge, or "Mr. Ueno of the Love Hotel") revealed on Thursday that Kanata Hongou (pictured right) will play the main character Ueno in the series. Hongou previously played Armin in the two live-action Attack on Titan films.
The series will begin streaming on the "Fuji TV On Demand" service on December 1, and will stream new episodes every Thursday. The show's television broadcast will begin in January. Ken Higurashi is directing the series, and Yū Kanda and Noriko Kozuru are penning the script.
Hakase began serializing Love Concierge in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in June 2014. Kadokawa published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on August 23. The story is based on a Twitter account of a love hotel employee who goes by "Ueno" and instructs others in the way of love. In the manga, Ueno, a Gotanda Kingdom love hotel employee, appears in front of men who have trouble with love and sex and lectures them on how to lure women to the hotel.
