Accel World/Dural Magisa Garden Spinoff Manga Ends in June

The July issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine revealed on Saturday that Ayato Sasakura will end her Accel World / Dural: Magisa Garden manga in the magazine's next issue on June 27.
The manga's story centers on the Burst Linkers of the Seibi Academy all-girls school, in particular on Chiaki Chigira, a girl who grew up with her late brother telling her stories of the Burst Linker "Kuroyukihime," whom she now admires. Now, in the online fighting game "Brain Burst," she chases after Kuroyukihime, and will open the door to the Accel World.
The manga launched in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in January 2012, and is a spinoff of Reki Kawahara's Accel World light novels. Kadokawa published the manga's seventh compiled book volume last September.
The novels inspired two other manga titled Axel World by Akariryuryuu, and Hiroyuki Aigamo's Accel World manga adaptation of the original novels. Yen Press is releasing the latter manga and the original light novel in English, and released both the manga's seventh volume and the light novel's ninth volume on March 21. The manga will reach its climax in June.
Kawahara's Accel World light novel series inspired a 24-episode television anime adaptation that premiered in 2012, and Viz Media streamed the series on Hulu as it aired in Japan. Viz Media released the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in 2013. The light novels also inspired the Accel World: Infinite Burst anime film last July.
Sasakura also drew the manga adaptation of Yashichiro Takahashi's Shakugan no Shana novels. Viz Media released the first six out of 10 volumes of the manga.
