Voice Actor Yoshimasa Hosoya Returns to Work After 4-Month Hiatus

Voice actor Yoshimasa Hosoya announced during the Tensai Gunshi radio show on Sunday that he has returned to voice work after a four-month hiatus. The actor appeared on the radio show as a surprise. While he co-hosts the show with fellow voice actor Hiroki Yasumoto, he has not appeared in the show during his hiatus.
Hosoya went on hiatus in April to undergo treatment for his throat after a doctor's diagnosis. Tomoaki Maeno replaced Hosoya in the role of the character Hokuto Hidaka in Happy Elements K.K's Ensemble Stars! app during Hosoya's absence.
Hosoya's recent roles include Rintarō Kira on Kenka Banchō Otome: Girl Beats Boys, Reiner Braun on Attack on Titan season 2, Fumikage Tokoyami on My Hero Academia, Yamato Ishida on Digimon Adventure tri., and Kakeru Tengenji on STARMYU season 2.
