'Are You Lost?' Anime's New Video Unveils More Cast & Staff, Theme Songs

The official website for the television anime of Kentarō Okamoto and Riri Sagara's Are You Lost? (Sōnan desu ka?) manga revealed a new promo video that announced another cast member, more staff members, and theme song artists for the anime on Monday. The video also features samples from the songs themselves, and the website posted a new visual.

Akio Ohtsuka joins the cast as Jōichi Onishima (seen below), Homare's father, and the one who taught her survival skills.

M.A.O, Hiyori Kono, Kiyono Yasuno, and Azumi Waki perform the opening theme song "Koko wa Doko" (Where Are We?), while Yasuno performs the ending theme song "Ikiru" (To Live).

Nobuyoshi Nagayama (My Girlfriend is Shobitch, Happy Sugar Life) is directing the anime at Ezo'la (Happy Sugar Life). Touko Machida (Lucky Star, The IDOLM@STER, Happy Sugar Life) is in charge of series composition. Junnosuke Nishio is designing the characters, and Akiyuki Tateyama (Kemono Friends, Gakuen Basara: Samurai High School, Laid-Back Camp) is composing the music.

The anime will air on Tokyo MX on July 2 at 11:15 p.m., and each episode will be 15 minutes long. The show will also air on MBS and on BS-NTV. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

Kodansha Comics began releasing the manga digitally in October, and it describes the story:

Because of a plane crash … starting today, we're spending the springtime of our lives on a desert island!! There's nothing here, so we have to make everything!! And eat everything!! (Ugh!) Check out our high-school-girl survival story of courage and knowledge. We're actually doing pretty well! Volume 1 includes: how to eat cicadas, how to build traps, a simple allergy test, how to eat hermit crabs, etc.

Okamoto and Sagara launched the manga in Kodansha's Young Magazine in January 2017. Kodansha published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on March 6.
