Ani-One Streams Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma the Second Plate Anime

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel began streaming Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Sōma the Second Plate, the second season of the Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma anime, on Wednesday. The channel will stream new episodes on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. IST.
Alongside Hong Kong and India, Ani-One is streaming the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The 13-episode series premiered in Japan in July 2016.
Yoshitomo Yonetani (Gaogaigar, Betterman) directed the anime at J.C. Staff. Shogo Yasukawa (Terra Formars, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Invaders of the Rokujyōma!?) was in charge of the series' scripts, and Tomoyuki Shitaya (Bakuman, BlazBlue Alter Memory, Hatsukoi Limited) designed the characters. Jin Aketagawa was the sound director, and Tatsuya Katou (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Medaka Box) composed the soundtrack.
Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki launched the original manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012. Chef Yuki Morisaki is credited for cooperation for the manga. Viz Media releases chapters of the manga weekly in English on its app and website, and also releases the manga's compiled book volumes in English. Shueisha publishes the manga digitally in English on its MANGA Plus service.
The manga has inspired five television anime series.
