Muse Asia announced on Facebook on Friday that it will stream the television anime of Satoru Noda's Golden Kamuy manga on July 18. Episodes of the anime will stream daily on YouTube at 6:00 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, the channel will stream the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Muse Asia describes its story:

Late Meiji era. The Russo-Japanese war hero, Sugimoto Saichi, nicknamed "the Immortal Sugimoto", is in Hokkaido to acquire a large sum of money for a specific purpose. There, he is offered the chance to get rich from the huge reserves of gold stolen from the Ainu people. The reserves are hidden by a man imprisoned in Abashiri Prison, and the tattoos on the bodies of 24 escaped prisoners are said to be clues to its whereabouts.
Then, Sugimoto is attacked by a brown bear, and an Ainu girl saves him. The girl, whose name is Asirpa, had her father killed by the man who took the buried gold. As if in response to Sugimoto's actions, the 7th Division, the most powerful unit in the north, and escaped prisoners with tattoos on their backs, who have long been in the dark for the buried gold, also start to make their movements known. What will become of the get-rich-quick survival that has been taking place in the magnificent northern lands?

The first television anime season premiered in April 2018. The second season premiered in October 2018. The third season premiered in October 2020. The fourth season of the anime will premiere in October.

The manga's 15th compiled book volume shipped in September 2018, and it bundled an anime DVD focusing on the manga's Barato arc. The manga's 17th volume shipped in March 2019, and it also bundled an anime DVD. A third original anime video (OVA) for the Monster arc shipped with the manga's 19th volume in September 2019. The 23rd volume shipped in September 2020 with a fourth OVA episode that adapts the manga's "forbidden" "Shiton Animal Chronicles" story.
