Crunchyroll added My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999, the television anime adaptation of Mashiro's Loving Yamada at Lv999! (Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru) manga, in India on Saturday. It began streaming the television anime of Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki's My Home Hero manga in India on Sunday.

The streaming service also added Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: First Kiss wa Owaranai), the arc that takes place after the end of the anime's third season, on Saturday.

My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 debuted on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on April 1 at 00:30 a.m. JST (effectively, April 2 at 12:30 a.m. or April 1 at 11:30 a.m. EDT). Crunchyroll describes the anime:

Akane Kinoshita, a female college student, faces the absolute worst situation when she ends up breaking up with her boyfriend after he has an affair with a woman he met playing an online game. While relieving her stress by rampaging through the open hunting grounds of an online game, Akane spills everything about her heartbreak to “Yamada”, a player she met by chance who happens to be in the same guild. “I don't care,” is his curt reply. But when Akane gets a makeover and joins an offline event to get back at her ex-boyfriend, she hears those dreadful words again. And that was Akane's fateful encounter with “Yamada.”

Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, Cardcaptor Sakura, My Love Story!!) is directing the anime at Madhouse. Kunihiko Hamada is designing the characters and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (A Couple of Cuckoos, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is in charge of the series scripts. Mito from the group Clammbon (Yurei Deco) and DÉ DÉ MOUSE (Wonder Egg Priority) are composing the music.

Mashiro debuted the manga in 2018. Kadokawa published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on October 21. Mangamo is releasing the manga in English. Loving Yamada at Lv999! won the Grand Prize in the 6th Annual Tsutaya Comic Awards 2022. It has more than 1 million copies in circulation in Japan.

My Home Hero premiered on April 1. Ani-One Asia is also streaming the series in India as it airs in Japan.

Takashi Kamei (Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise chief director) is directing the anime at Tezuka Productions. Kohei Kiyasu (Run with the Wind) is writing and supervising the series' scripts. Masatsune Noguchi (Hakushon Daimaō 2020) is designing the characters. Yukio Abe is the art designer. Kenji Kawai (Patlabor, Gundam 00, Ghost in the Shell) is composing the music, while Takumi Itō is the sound director. Kiyotaka Kawada is credited for sound effects.

Yamakawa and Asaki launched the manga in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017. The manga's 18th volume shipped on October 6. The manga resumed with its third and final part in the 29th issue of Weekly Young Magazine on June 20. The final arc picks the story back up seven years after the second part. The manga entered a hiatus after it ended its second part in October 2021.

The manga centers on a salaryman who has a reliable wife and a daughter in university who can sometimes act a bit rebellious, but has a happy life in his own way. Until one day he finds out his daughter has been beaten, and thus begins his journey into a dangerous world to protect his family.
