Demon Slayer Live Concert Series to Debut in San Francisco and New York City This Fall

New York, NYMay 21st 2024 – A groundbreaking live concert series based on one of the most popular anime and Japanese manga franchises ever will debut in San Francisco and New York City this fall. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba In Concert will be powered by Crunchyroll, the global anime brand offering fans the ultimate anime experience. The concert is set to immerse audiences in an extraordinary live music celebration of the captivating world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which has recently amassed a global fanbase and taken the world by storm. The iconic soundtrack of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc will be brought to life on stage by a stunning 18-piece live band while the unforgettable scenes are projected onto a full-size cinema screen.

This new concert series will premiere in the U.S. September 21st at the Kings Theater in Brooklyn and September 28th at the Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco. Tickets go on-sale on May 24th 10:00AM PDT and can be purchased at www.demonslayerinconcert.com.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA's JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by ufotable.

The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.


Starting in February 2023, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour kicked off, followed by the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc airing in April. In February 2024, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- was released in movie theaters worldwide featuring a special theatrical screening in over 140 countries and regions - surpassing the previous year's release.
