it's great to see the series have a conclusion years after the author passed away

By the time the last volume comes out, it will all narrow down to the ultimate question asking which ending was better (LN or anime).

The final volume. Whether it is good or bad, we should accept it as is and appreciate the fact it wasn't outright cancelled due to obvious reasons.

I am sure the guy can finally rest easy knowing his work is finally going to be completed. A true writer and fighter, not even death could not stop him. RIP

Nah, I would think it is probably another writer from Media Factory. They probably don't want to said who because that would bring comparation with that writer novels. |

I think not announcing who the ghost writer is will somehow make it feel more like this is still the original author's work. And I respect them for making that decision.
I only saw the anime, but maybe I'll give the light novel a shot one day. I hope the author's soul is at rest. |

Well, with Seven Seas seemingly dipping their toes into the LN market now, I do wonder if there is a chance of them releasing the LNs for Zero. Though, with it being 22 volumes, I do feel the chance is slim.

I agree, but a part of me wants to believe that it's a literal ghost writer . In any case, if the writer was too well known, then people would buy for all of the wrong reasons and possibly be disappointed. If he was too unknown, then people might not have trusted him to finish the story. It's best this way. |

On the other hand, it was Brandon Sanderson finishing the Wheel of Time after Robert Jordan died that introduced me to Sanderson and resulted in me binging on his novels. |
