This is stupid. These characters should have been in there from the start, let alone forcing us to pay for them.
It's base Goku and Vegeta for crying out loud.

I mean, I wouldn't mind if it were, say, SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta, but was anyone dying to play as Base Goku and Vegeta?

I'd much rather have Ultra Instinct Goku and Ascended SSB Vegeta tbh

Still waiting on Kefla, Caulifla, Kale, or even Hercule at this point. I'm starting to get sick of looking at Gokus and Vegetas.

I'm waiting for FghterZ 2 where all the dlc charcaters will most likely be in the base game to make way for new dlc characters.

I remember when those Base forms were default characters and Super Saiyan forms were unlockables through codes or other means that didn't involve paying actual money in older games...good times...

That is why I skipped this game. As cool as it looked, seeing transformations as presets made it pretty obvious that we would see DLC versions of the same characters. Plus, I've played older DBZ games that locked you into a transformation on the character select screen, and I felt like it took away from the fun of choosing whether or not to use it.

Agreed. I don't mind that Xenoverse 2 has DLC for characters that were added to the series after the game came out. That makes sense, but this leaves a bad taste.

No one's forcing you or anyone else to pay for them. Buying DC for any game is strictly optional.

Those title cards look similar to the what Super Smash Bros. series shows off. Anyway, I am guessing default Goku and Vegeta are going to be available when the Switch version is release. It would make more since to do that then having to pay for them as DLC.
